1. Scope of This Policy

This Privacy Policy applies to ATL's Hottest services that link to or display this policy, including our website, mobile application, voting and nomination experiences, nominee profiles, Association features, event services, advertising services, and related account features.

Some ATL's Hottest programs may have additional eligibility, participation, privacy, or consent requirements. Where additional terms or notices apply to a particular program, those requirements supplement this Privacy Policy.

2. Information We Collect

Account Information

When you create or maintain an ATL's Hottest account, we may collect information such as your name, username, email address, authentication information, account status, and information associated with your account.

Voting Information

When you participate in voting, we may collect your email address, the category and nominee associated with your vote, the date and time of the vote, IP address, browser or device user-agent information, and related technical information.

We use this information to operate the ballot, enforce voting rules, maintain ballot integrity, investigate suspected abuse or fraud, protect the service, and maintain appropriate records of voting activity.

Nomination Information

When a nomination is submitted, we may collect the nominator's name and email address, nominee name, category, submission date, and information associated with the nomination.

If you separately choose to receive promotional communications, we may also record your communications preference, the date that preference was recorded, and the version of the consent presented to you.

Nominee Information

Information associated with an approved nominee may include the nominee's name, category, photograph, website, social-media link, contact information, profile information, approval status, and related information needed to operate the nomination and awards experience.

Certain approved nominee information is intended to be displayed publicly as part of an official ATL's Hottest nominee profile. Private contact information is not automatically treated as public profile information merely because it was provided to ATL's Hottest.

Association and Membership Information

If you participate in ATL's Hottest Association or membership features, we may collect information such as your name, business name, notification email, website, social-media information, profile image, areas of interest, membership level, membership status, membership dates, renewal information, and related account information.

Event Information

When an event is submitted, promoted, or managed through ATL's Hottest, we may collect event and organizer information such as organizer name, email address, phone number, event title, description, venue, address, city, state, event dates and times, promotional images, ticket or website links, and related event information.

Advertising and Business Information

Businesses, advertisers, sponsors, and promotional clients may provide information such as business name, contact name, email address, phone number, website, requested advertising placements, campaign dates, budget information, creative materials, campaign messages, and related advertising information.

Payment and Transaction Information

When paid services are used, we may maintain transaction-related information such as the purchaser or producer name, email address, amount, payment status, transaction or payment reference, promotion package, requested dates, and payment timestamps.

ATL's Hottest may use third-party payment processors to process payments. Our application records may contain payment-provider references and transaction status information. We do not represent those references as complete payment-card numbers.

Technical, Security, and Usage Information

We may collect technical information reasonably necessary to operate and secure our services, including IP addresses, browser or device user-agent information, timestamps, page or placement activity, advertising impressions and clicks, and security or fraud-prevention information.

3. How We Use Information

We may use information to:

• Provide and maintain ATL's Hottest services.
• Operate nominations, nominee profiles, and voting.
• Enforce voting rules and protect ballot integrity.
• Create and manage user accounts and memberships.
• Authenticate users and protect account security.
• Process event submissions and event promotions.
• Provide advertising and promotional services.
• Process and document transactions.
• Provide customer and account support.
• Detect, investigate, and prevent fraud, abuse, or security incidents.
• Maintain records necessary for business, legal, accounting, security, and operational purposes.
• Send optional marketing or promotional communications when the recipient has chosen to receive them.
• Send service-related or transactional communications necessary to operate an account, nomination, transaction, membership, security feature, or other requested service.

4. Communications Choices

Promotional communications are optional. Where ATL's Hottest asks whether you would like to receive news, announcements, invitations, promotions, or marketing communications, declining that option does not prevent you from receiving communications that are necessary to provide a service you requested.

Examples of service-related communications may include account security messages, password-reset messages, nomination-status information, receipts, transaction information, and other operational notices.

You may withdraw your consent to optional promotional communications using an unsubscribe or preference mechanism that we provide.

5. Public Information

Some ATL's Hottest features are designed for public recognition and promotion. Approved nominee profiles, approved event listings, and other intentionally public content may be visible to visitors without requiring them to sign in.

Public nominee information may also be used in ATL's Hottest promotional features such as nominee profile links, social-sharing previews, and official nominee QR codes.

An official nominee QR code or shared nominee link directs visitors to nominee-related content. Scanning a QR code or opening a shared link does not itself constitute a vote. Voting remains subject to ATL's Hottest voting rules.

6. Information Sharing and Service Providers

ATL's Hottest may use service providers to perform functions such as hosting, infrastructure, email delivery, payment processing, security, storage, analytics when implemented, and other technology or business services.

We may provide information to service providers only as reasonably necessary for them to perform services on our behalf and subject to appropriate contractual, technical, or legal safeguards.

We may also disclose information when reasonably necessary to comply with law, legal process, enforce our agreements, protect the security or integrity of our services, investigate fraud or abuse, or protect the rights and safety of ATL's Hottest, our users, or others.

7. Advertising, Analytics, and Third-Party Technologies

ATL's Hottest may measure activity associated with its own advertising inventory, including impressions, clicks, placement information, and timestamps.

If we introduce additional third-party analytics, advertising, social-media, measurement, or similar technologies that collect or share information, we will update our disclosures and provide any permissions or choices required for those technologies.

This policy does not state that ATL's Hottest currently uses a particular third-party advertising or analytics platform unless that service has actually been implemented.

8. Data Retention

We retain personal information for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this policy, including providing the service, maintaining voting and nomination integrity, fulfilling transactions, maintaining appropriate business records, preventing fraud or abuse, resolving disputes, enforcing agreements, and satisfying legal, tax, accounting, or regulatory obligations.

Different types of information may have different retention periods. Some records may be deleted or anonymized when identifying information is no longer reasonably necessary for the purpose for which it was retained.

Certain historical voting, nomination, event, advertising, security, or transaction records may be retained independently from an account when reasonably necessary for legitimate operational, security, financial, recordkeeping, or legal purposes. Where appropriate, identifying information may be removed or minimized.

9. Account Deletion

Registered users can initiate deletion of their ATL's Hottest account through Account Settings.

Account deletion permanently removes the ATL's Hottest user account and account-owned records that are designated for deletion, subject to records that may need to be retained for legitimate security, fraud-prevention, financial, legal, or regulatory purposes.

Deleting an ATL's Hottest account does not automatically delete a separate account or identity maintained by another service. In particular, deleting an ATL's Hottest account removes the ATL-side connection to MajicMall Megaverse but does not itself delete a separately maintained MajicMall Megaverse account.

10. Security

ATL's Hottest uses administrative, technical, and organizational measures intended to protect information against unauthorized access, loss, misuse, alteration, or disclosure. No internet-connected system or method of electronic storage can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

11. ATL's Hottest Kids Awards and Programs Involving Minors

ATL's Hottest Kids Awards is a separate ATL's Hottest awards program with its own participation structure and separate ballot experience. It is not combined with the general adult nominee ballot.

Programs involving minors may be subject to additional eligibility, privacy, participation, parent or legal-guardian consent, account, communications, and data-handling requirements.

Where ATL's Hottest operates digital features specifically involving children, we may provide additional program-specific notices, disclosures, rules, and consent mechanisms appropriate to those features and applicable requirements.

ATL's Hottest does not use participation in the separate Kids Awards as a basis for automatically creating a general user account for a child.

12. Your Privacy Choices

Depending on your relationship with ATL's Hottest and applicable requirements, you may have options to review or update certain account information, change communications preferences, request account deletion, or request assistance concerning personal information associated with your use of the service.

Account holders can access available controls through Account Settings.

13. Third-Party Websites and Services

ATL's Hottest may contain links to third-party websites, social-media services, ticketing services, payment services, or other external destinations. Their privacy practices are governed by their own policies. We encourage you to review the privacy information provided by those services before providing information to them.

14. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy as ATL's Hottest services, technology, legal requirements, or data practices change. When we make changes, we will update the "Last Updated" date above and may provide additional notice when appropriate.

15. Contact and Privacy Requests

Privacy and account-related requests may be submitted through the account and support mechanisms made available within ATL's Hottest. Account holders can begin with Account Settings, and information about account deletion is available on our Account Deletion page.
